The song “Heal the World” was written by Michael Jackson. It was released in 1992 and became a part of his eighth album Dangerous. Ideas of humanism, peace and making the world a better place run through the whole song. In one of his interviews Michael Jackson said that “Heal The World” is the song he is the most proud of.
In the same year of 1992 Michael Jackson founded Heal the World Foundation with a purpose of ending povetry. With this charitable organisation Michael donated millions to disadvantaged children in a number of countries.
Heal The World was among just a few songs performed by an ensamble during the memorial service after Michael’s death in 2009.
