COVID-19: Why to wear masks (if I am not ill)?

It is a debated question, so, if there are different opinions, there are good reasons not to wear masks, so why bother?

Here are a few reasons why you should better wear masks. The World Health Organization changed its guidelines some time ago and now recommends to wear masks in public places. I guess WHO is a reputable organisation. More on this:

According to researchers, up to 80% of people WITH COVID-19 are unaware they have the virus. So, people you are passing by in the street, that look and maybe feel healthy, with normal temperature, may be infected. Moreover, it can also be you! So, by not wearing a mask you may well spread the virus. Consider this:

It’s not that hard to wear a mask, so why take excessive risk for yourself and others?
